Paper Tiger Islay Whisky Blend Scottish Tea

Our Islay Blend Scottish Tea is specially blended for us here in Edinburgh. It is part of our collection of teas blended with real single malt whisky from each of Scotland’s unique whisky regions. 

Islay is famous for its peaty single malt whiskies. We're quite partial to a Laphroaig, but there are over a dozen well-known distilleries on Islay, an incredible concentration for an island population of just over 3000 people! This tea takes its inspiration from those peaty flavours, and after careful brewing, the tea imparts a subtle smoky flavour from the black tea and the oolong tea and a touch of fire from the star anise. We would suggest that your tea is steeped for 3-5 minutes, depending upon how strong you like your drink.  

The tin is made from Aluminium which is widely recycled, but we'd suggest using it for more tea! The bag for the tea is compostable. Store in a cool dry place.
