With roughly two months to go until Christmas we are starting to feel the spirit here at Paper Tiger! Our Christmas collections are growing and expanding by the day, filling our shops with the scents, flavours and sights of Christmas. 

The lead up to Christmas would not be complete without a generous selection of advent calendars. As always, we aim to offer you a variety of products, ranging from traditional illustrative, to chocolate and even 3D make-your-own style advents. This year is no different and we've got even more to offer! 

Our Art Angels traditional style advents always prove to be great sellers. These free-standing advents come in a variety of designs featuring the work of artist Angela Harding who draws inspiration from the flora and fauna of the British countryside. Striving to capture the spirit and atmosphere of the outdoors, her advents achieve a real feel for those crisp winter days. Beautiful both unopened and open, each door reveals a seasonal image. 

All year round we aim to deliver products from local artists and creatives and Christmas is no different. This year we have a beautiful, globe style advent calendar from Edinburgh College of Art graduate Alice Melvin. Like Harding, Melvin also has a keen interest in nature and wildlife, which is clearly displayed in her lovely calendar featuring 24 British birds in a winter landscape. 

For those wanting to explore perhaps a more modern, interactive advent our 3D pop and slot calendars from Roger la Borde are a great option for all ages. Featuring designs from several artists, these pop and slot calendars are an excellent way to get in the spirit. Construct a little bit of your design everyday in the run up to Christmas Day, finishing with a beautiful decorative structure that you can keep!
