4Ocean is a global campaign to cleanup our oceans and coastlines by pulling a pound of trash every time a 4Ocean Bracelet is bought. The 4Ocean movement is trying to restore the balance of nature in our seas as well as highlighting a monthly cause that will raise awareness and funds for a particular area of environmental concern. This month it is the plight of the Hawaiian Monk Seal.

The Hawaiian monk seal, only native to Hawaii, has been facing an increasing threat to extinction due to the growing amount of plastic pollution in its environment. They are now one of the world’s most endangered marine mammals. It is estimated that there are now fewer than 1,400 of these seals left in the wild. 4Ocean are working with The Marine Mammal Center to help protect this seal as well as restore their natural habitat.
